This is our first Bosch dishwasher and I am so happy with our choice. The dishwasher is so quiet I would forget it was on if not for the indicator light. Coming from a prior appliance that sounded like an airplane landing this is a welcome change. The dishes come out clean and dry even with the lack of heat drying. Will only buy Bosch from now on!

This is my second Bosch dishwasher, my first one lasted 21 years with ZERO issues.....until that sad day when its life ended :) When I went to look for a new dishwasher the salesman asked me what I was interested in and I said "I will not even consider anything but a Bosch" he was very surprised to learn how long I had my dishwasher with NO problems. I walked out with another Bosch and I could not be any happier.....my dishes ALWAYS come out spotless (even dishes that have burnt on food) I would recommend a Bosh to EVERYONE.

Honestly, I love this dishwasher. My wife especially love it because of the top mini rack for utensils. I love that we can delay starting because it saves on our electricity bill. I just wish that it had a larger standard silverware caddy.

I purchased this dishwasher on major sale, without much research. It cleans good, but it uses JetDry incredibly fast. The silverware basket on the bottom is tiny (it does have a 3rd rack for silverware). Taller cups dont fit well in the middle rack (because of the 3rd rack). It is super quiet! I'm still undecided about it over all. If I needed to purchase another new dishwasher, I'd really consider going back to a kitchen aide with only 2 racks.

Super quiet dishwasher and the auto open door is a great feature to expedite the drying of the dishes. Dishwasher already fail and thanks to the extended warranty offered by Lowes I was able to fix the dishwasher (bad recirculation pump). The fastest dishwasher time is 60 minutes, and Would be nice to have a quickier option.

The Bosch 500 Series Dishwasher does a very good job on cleaning and it is exceptionally quiet, which is great for an open home floor plan. The shelving options are varied and many and pretty much anything that is dishwasher safe can be made to fit. However, there are two niggling recurring problems. 1. About 66% of the time, I have to reset the controls twice to get it to start. The red light blinks and it beeps at me until I go thru the exact same exercise before it actually starts. 2. It has the Auto-Door Open Drying. That option is hit or miss and has only worked a handful of times the whole year I've owned it. I've wiped the door and seals. I've taken off all the stickers. Nothing seems to make a difference. Over all, these faults aren't deal breakers. Just annoying.

We had a Bosch dishwasher for well-over 20 years, so getting another Bosch was an easy decision. The two features I love the most about this machine is the "Auto Air" which pops the door open when the cycle has complete and Remote Start. We load the dishwasher at night and like to run it after everyone has taken their showers and it is nice to start the dishwasher from my bedroom. I was concerned about the small size of the utensil holder, but with the third rack, I am able to put larger utensils and coffee cups lids up there that the utensil holder doesn't ever seem to be overfilled. I am very happy with this machine and hope it lasts us as long as our last Bosch.

I really love this washer. If you don't watch any vids you may overlook some of the cool feautures this has. There is a hidden top rack for lids, knives and flat items. The racks fold down for large pots, etc. The rack can be lowered or raised if there are tall items. I highly recommend the Bosch app which explains many of these things. You can also control it remotely. Mop the floor and then turn on the unit from another room. Nice!

I am very happy with my new Bosch 500 Series Dishwasher. The racks are designed well to fit my dishes, both top and bottom, and the third rack is a great bonus. I have used the Home Connect App successfully and love the option to pop open the door for drying. It gets the dishes very clean and dries most things thoroughly with the exception of the plastic, which is expected. It is very quiet, which is a huge bonus.

Don't buy this dishwasher. Warranty for substantial parts is only 1 year. Dishwasher started leaking after 21 months and nothing was covered. I paid $900.00 and get a piece of junk after 21 months. Buyer be ware!

I have purchased three Bosch dishwashers, this make and model being my third. This model cleans dishes well, can fit a lot of dishes, and is quiet. I do find the lack of buttons and relying only on electronic sensors to change modes is extremely annoying. Holding down the power budget for 4 seconds for a reset doesn't always work and selecting another mode then doesn't always work. It is also extremely easy to accidentally hit one of the sensors to turn on the dishwasher and change the mode. The rinse agent compartment leaks too. There is no way to tell how much the compartment has in it either. The app is pretty nice. The glasses drawer is not tall enough.

I'm a big fan of Bosch machines. Our last washer and dryer lasted over 20 years of heavy use without any problem. We replaced our old Bosch dishwasher with this one, only because it was black and we remodeled with stainless appliances. We gave our old one to our nephew, who just bought a house without a dishwasher, so it was win-win. I especially love the air dry feature. It cleans beautifully and is very quiet. The red "running" light that shines onto the floor is very helpful. I will buy Bosch again, and always recommend them to friends.

A good dishwasher but not a great dishwasher. The dishwasher, on its own, doesn't seem to be able to get up to the temperature I needed for intense cleaning. I had to raise the overall household temperature of my water up 4° just to get the dishwasher to do a thorough cleaning. It's OK. But not as good as my former brand.

We chose this as a replacement for a 6yr old LG product that had already rusted through the racks and other issues. This item is quiter and I didn't think that was possible. Also it cleans so much better. We did need to learn how to load this product a bit but after that, it works great, quiet and gives us a much better cleaning of our dishes.

Quite frankly I expected a perfect appliance as I was willing to pay for a product that was much more expensive than GE, Westinghouse, LG etc. I find the digital control panel and remote app start unnecessary complications. The digital touch panel is not easy to use and definately not intuitive. I would rather have real depressable buttons where I know they have been pushed. the lights don't seem to easily tell me what I have done. The app is extremly challenging to set up despite the fact I feel I'm technically savvy.

I replaced my previous dishwasher with a Bosch. My previous dishwasher just did not do the job. I would watch a load of dishes only to find that several steel had stuck on food residue. And, they're basically quit working after three years. I did a lot of research, trying to decide which dishwasher to buy. I settled on a Bosch 500 series and I'm so happy with it. It really does an amazing job and I very seldom find anything that didn't come completely clean. I am so happy with my new dishwasher.

This is by far the best dishwasher I've ever owned! It is quiet, it is efficient, and it can accommodate dishes from a large dinner party. I love the very top rack for serving spoons, forks, and spatulas.

Lemon of a Product Do Not Purchase

We purchased this in July and it keeps breaking! They have already replaced 2 computer boards and they refuse to send me a new unit! Will nbever shop this brand again! It just stops working ! I have had their warrenty repair person here 4 times and I am ready to put it on ther curb!

We only had the dishwasher for three or four months when it would not start because the door sensor didn't think the door was closed. We went through the warranty process which took a couple weeks to go through that process to get the latch replaced. After the repair was completed by a certified technician, when the wash was complete the door would unlock, but not open as it should for auto air resulting in moisture condensing on the controls and bottom of our counter. I moved the dishwasher to be more centered in the opening and adjusted the leveling feet from where the technician left it and it seems to be working now. This may just be how current dishwashers are, but it doesn't dry as well as our old dishwasher, even when using functions such as sanitize and auto air. We have also have a couple occasions where the soap tab has become lodged in the handle for the upper rack and not dissolved during the cycle. Because our counter is close to the top of the dishwasher you cannot see any of the controls when the door is closed. Finally, in order to use all of the cycle features you have to download and use the app.

Purchased in November 2024. Within one year the motherboard went out and now at 18 months something else is wrong and the soap tablets will not dissolve. I will say Bosch has been great with Customerservice. They are sending someone out six months after the warranty is expired to get it running again. I am not the only one having these issues.

Amazingly quiet

I've owned close to half a dozen dishwashers that claimed to be quiet. This is the first one that really is. I now actually rely on the projected status light on the floor or the remote app to know when it is finished. The app is nice but could be more user friendly.

Never thought I cared about a dishwasher until I found you... This thing is great. The space abd third rack it provides allows me to easily load and unload the dishwasher. I find myself feeling neutral, or even slightly enjoying, doing this chore now. We run it every day. Our kitchen has never seemed cleaner.

Not a good choice-stopped draining after 1.5 years - had two techs come look and neither- including the Bosch tech has any idea why. "No error code so I can't help you". This is my first and last Bosch purchase- thought these were suppose to be high end?
