KitchenAid Craft Your Dream Kitchen Rebate

Offer Expires: 7/1/2024 to 12/31/2024 Must be postmarked by: 1/30/2025

Receive up to a $3000 rebate with purchase of qualifying KitchenAid Brand Appliances. Rebate form must be postmarked by 1/30/2025.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Noisey! Noisey!

MichelleOben 12/6/2019

The NOISE of this fridge is beyond horrible, and CONSTANT. I can hear it throughout the house--a high pitched ringing noise. I have this same fridge at a cabin and there's zero noise, beyond the fan turning on periodically. Two techs have come out, with calls into Whirlpool (who owns KitchenAid). According to the Whirlpool tech, "there was a bad lot of these and we are aware of the problem. Try replacing the compressor. It may help." MAY...and they know the issue. The techs coming to the house have tried to help, but this is a known issue. They should replace my fridge! Oh, and this is the 2nd model we have had installed in 6 months--the first fridge heated rather than cooled. This is a horrible unit. DO NOT BUY IT!

OK, but I expected more from KitchenAid

ECL2020 11/30/2019

I have the older version of this model that I purchased from my local appliance store back in 2009. Yes, it was that long ago, and I can see that not much has changed with this refrigerator as far as features and quality. I will say that I do love the layout and the GOOD quality of the door shelves and the rubber linings that make for easy cleanup. The trouble started when the thermostat went out while it was still under the one year warranty. The interior water dispenser ended up being a burden because my kids were opening the fridge 10 times more a day which kept causing the temperature to rise. The deli drawer door is THE WORST design out there. We replaced the first broken door after only a few years. Then, it broke again. This time, I'm leaving it alone and will be purchasing another refrigerator which is why I came to this website. Also, the ice maker broke TWICE. We threw it out and went back to ice trays. Also, the plastic clips that hold the produce drawers in the gliders broke, so the drawers no long sit straight. Oh, and the white border around the bottom shelf is covered in white TAPE and is not plastic all the way through which is peeling off so bad just from normal use. More, this refrigerator, if they haven't changed to airflow, WILL freeze your food whenever it decides. I haven't left the temp setting at the recommended 37 degrees since almost the beginning because it would be a freezer rather than a refrigerator. I have to keep it between 40 and 42 and it still freezes food in the deli drawer, really bad on the lowest shelf, and randomly throughout. I have had meat freeze and also glass, quart-size mason jars completely crack full of ice which was once liquid food. Now, maybe because the fridge is reaching its sad, short life of 10 years, the compressor runs and runs even with the inner water dispenser being disabled several years ago, which in turn causes my food to freeze. Mind you, all these issues have been going on for nine plus years. I hope KitchenAid has updated something, but the inside still looks almost identical to mine. NOT impressed and am finally having to cave and spend more ungodly amounts of money on a piece of intentional garbage somewhere else.

I bought this a month ago for our new home and I love it! The capacity is amazing there is plenty of storage space. The water and ice dispenser are located inside which is a plus for me since I have little children and this keeps them from playing with the ice maker.

Perfect for our family!

James46 11/21/2019

We've had this refrigerator for about 9 months. We shopped for over a year looking for something that would equal or exceed our 25 year old Kitchenaid refrigerator that still worked well but didn't fit in with our kitchen remodel. This unit keeps perfect temperatures and humidity control is a big plus -- we didn't expect it to have such an impact. Lots of room compared to the units with low output in-door ice dispensers. The large ice tray and ice making capacity was something we had to have. It looks great in our kitchen. We get lots of comments like "wish we had bought one like that". Make sure you buy a plastic ice scoop so you can quickly fill lots of drink glasses.

French Door Fridge

DianePB 11/20/2019

We had a heck of a time actually getting a fridge at first - ordered from a GE Fridge from Home Depot and that was a HORRIBLE mistake! Home Depot is a nightmare and even though we had a stressful time over getting a fridge - in the end, it turned out for the better!!!!!!!! We went to our local small town appliance store and were treated with great respect!! We picked out a BEAUTIFUL KITCHENAID FRENCH DOOR FRIDGE at noon and it was delivered and installed by 5pm THAT DAY! ((after the nightmare by GE and HOME DEPOT this was a WELCOME surprise in customer service! We love the fridge so far!! The ONLY issue is a slight left door vibration when fridge is running and we open the door/s. We haven't been able to locate the source of the vibration to silence it completely as its intermittent. Hoping it gets better - not worse. Thank you KITCHENAID for a beautiful fridge and to Tri River Appliance for exceptional service!!

Lyds999 11/17/2019

I love everything about this frig with the exception of the vegetable crispers. They seem a little fragile to me. But I love the freezer with the slide over drawer. I'd like to see the ice receptacle closer to the front. The water dispenser is very handy. The shelving is very versatile.

Great Features BUT has defect

BUSTER 10122 11/12/2019

I first purchased this model 8 years ago and loved it so I just purchased another one for my new home. It does however have a BIG defect. The refrigerator builds up condensation between the bottom of the refrigerator doors and the top of the freezer door. There seems to be no fix but to exchange it for another one. I am hoping the replacement does not have this defect

Good for the Price

Exhawk 11/12/2019

The freezer door seems a little flimsy and cheap when opening and closing and I have to push it closed. It does not close in its own. Not sturdy at all. Also quite a trick to move partitions in the freezer shelves and baskets. When the compressor is cooling there is a very high pitches sound which is not the ice tray noise.

Have cheapened the frig

gaela 11/9/2019

This was a replacement frig from our insurance company. It's the newer version of the one that broke. Well, the doors and drawer are not as heavy, thereby they don't close as soundly. The glass shelves fall about 2" short of the back wall, allowing things to fall through. The sides are now grey instead of black which make it look cheap. Because of dividers in the freezer that can't be removed, there is less room. Overall, a disappointment.

Love interior dispenser!

JoannMC 10/30/2019

Love the sleek look of this fridge and the fact that I'm not constantly wiping water dribbles off the front of it. We bought the full KitchenAid Suite for our new build and are very happy so far. Only real complaint is that doors don't close easily and there's no alarm or beeping when we leave them open which has been a pain with two smalls kids. Also wish there was just a little more room for our Costco hauls.

Ice Maker Flaw destroyed our hardwood floors

melkillebrew 10/9/2019

We purchased on 8/18/19, delivered and installed on 9/1/19. On 10/8/19, we noticed the ice maker wasn't making much ice. Checked everything that was recommended to check. Decided to pull the refrigerator out to see if maybe a kink in the water line. We were devastated to see that the ice maker had leaked all over our hardwood floor under the refrigerator and leaked behind the wall and down into our basement!! We called Lowe's they immediately sent someone out to check the refrigerator and assess the damage. The leak was caused by the water line inside of the refrigerator to the ice maker....it just came undone and began pouring water into the refrigerator!! We are now waiting to see what the next steps will be to having the damages repaired....we will not be purchasing the same refrigerator, that's for sure!!!

afbuy 10/4/2019

I just bought this fridge and like everything about it. It's clean design is simple and clean inside and out. The shelves are a delight to move around and easy to see through and cleanly designed. The half foldable shelf s useful. The freezer configuration is very practical. We avoided the thru the door ice stuff to have less complexity. The inside water dispenser and ice maker is entirely sufficient. The led lighting is very bright and the control panel is clear and simple. Plus it's quiet. A great unit.

This should be a 5 star, but it's only a 2.

Jamie Kay 9/26/2019

We received our fridge at the end of July 2019. The unit is beautiful!. It is quiet! We have teenagers and even they were amazed at the alarm on the doors if left open! It is wonderful, BUT, the water dispenser has not worked since the 11th day of ownership. The ice maker quit 2 weeks after that. We have a brand new house, this is the first fridge ever in it. This unit has a bottom drawer freezer, which is wonderful, and an inside water dispenser. We loved this design, truly a space saver. We should be WOWED by this product. We can't seem to get any help fixing it. So, if the water and ice dispensers worked I would give it 5 stars, but customer service and longevity of the product knock off at least 3. So disappointed, my kids haven't scratched the paint yet and our fridge no longer gives ice or water.

Sturdy and elegant

Daniel70 9/25/2019

We received our new KitchenAid fridge last week and both my wife and I are quite happy with our purchase. The build is very sturdy yet the fridge itself does look elegant. When we were first on the market to replace our 7 year old fridge (think of a brand with 2 letters) having ice and water was not even on our radar. After spending weeks looking at every brand under the North American sun we narrowed it down to a Whirpool product and more specifically this model with the ice and water. We are both glad we changed our mind and went with these extras as the water and ice taste so clean. This fridge also runs much quieter than our previous one which had no bells and whistles on it either. Our specific fridge did however ship without 3 of the upper rubber mats which go in the bins on the door and the produce preserver . We contacted the dealer whom we bought it from whom took this matter up with Whirpool Canada and the missing rubber mats were shipped to us in less than a week. We are still waiting on the produce preserver to arrive but based on the service we have received thus far we sure it will arrive soon. Safe to say when the other kitchen appliances need to be replaced we will definitely be going with KitchenAid

Very happy with purchase!

NancyRN75 9/23/2019

I have had this fridge for about a month. No issues. Like some others have said, it's very loud when the ice maker is filling with water. That just doesn't bother me. All other times the fridge runs quietly. Love the roominess of the fridge. Freezer is a little on the smaller side. (I may have more in my freezer than the average person though) But so far is working out just fine.

Love the Appearance

Suzanne844 9/23/2019

I've had my new KitchenAid refrigerator for a month now, and it looks great in my kitchen. However, I'm disappointed in the quality, especially of the interior. The drawers are kind of flimsy. The interior just doesn't appear to have the quality that KitchenAid appliances have had in the past. I can only hope it stands up better than it looks.

Not like our previous one

sherken 9/19/2019

We replaced our worn out KitchenAid refrigerator with the exact same model because we were so pleased with the old one. Unfortunately, the newer model isn't as sturdy. The freezer draw, for example, goes somewhat off track if not pulled out exactly in the center of the handle, and the top of the draw is plastic, not stainless. Overall, not as well built.

Modern design with great handles!

Stefffffff 9/12/2019

I bought this a week ago after our old fridge died. I did quite a lot of research and I'm quite particular. Features I love include the ability to open each crisper individually, without having to open both sets of french door. Meaning if you want something out of the left crisper you only have to open the left door and that crisper drawer has enough space to pull out completely. My former fridge did not. You had to open both doors to access a crisper. I have not used the retracting half shelf yet but seems like a cool feature. Love the removal plastic liners that are in the bottom of the gallon milk bins. Makes for easy cleaning. My only tiny complaint is that some of the interior shelves have a stainless steel finish yet other trim pieces have the generic white plastic trim. The KA Platinum Series that we looked at features an all platinum trim which is gorgeous but comes with a big sticker price. Even my husband, who's a dude, noticed and commented on how beautiful the interior looked with the stainless steel trim. Honestly if Kitchen Aid would make that standard in their interiors they'd sell a gazillion more than their competition. Last but not least is the interior water dispenser. Love it. I purposely looked for fridges that did not have that ugly exterior dispenser. It seems like water splashes around and inevitably runs down the front doors. Always messy. Having it inside is a dream. The water filter does the trick too. Our tap water is highly chlorinated and the filter removes the taste and smell of it entirely. All in all a great choice. Plus it coordinates with all my other Kitchen Aid appliances.

Stylish and roomy

plangford 8/27/2019

I had a counter-depth side-by-side for years with water/ice through the door. This configuration has all of the benefits PLUS more capacity and flexibility for large platters on top & more useful freezer below. Ice through the door always seemed to make a mess on floor- and chilled, filtered water inside leaves a cleaner look outside.

Initial reaction

The refrigerator is in it's early utilization and seems to function properly. We are disappointed that the doors are not aligned...and wonder how to fix that.

Rusting after One Year!

Rustowner 8/23/2019

In December of 2017, we purchased a full line of Kitchenaid Stainless Steel appliances for $5K (fridge- similar model to this one, oven, microwave, dishwasher). We LOVE the function of the appliances and have not had ANY issues other than cosmetic. Every single one is rusting. I noticed it around one year later. When I would clean them, the rag was starting to turn yellow. This became more and more prominent and then you could see hundreds of small rust spots which every so slowly began to grow. I called Kitchenaid in May of 2019 and despite the issue not being covered, they sent someone out who verified that "Yes, that's a lot of rust!" and did not believe there was any reason to believe we were at fault. Kitchenaid replaced both doors on the refrigerator, but understandably the other appliances were not such an easy fix. After MANY phone conversations and lots of suggestions of what I could try, they eventually told me replacing the doors on the fridge was a "good faith gesture," but as all the appliances are rusting, they believe the problem is due to "the environment" they are being kept in. They admitted that their stainless steel is not actually completely stainless steel. They believe something has caused the protective coating that keeps the metal from rusting to be removed, causing the rust. They suggested numerous reasons as to how that could have happened. The humidity in "their environment" is too high. The appliances are in my kitchen, in a home in the middle of the midwest, not on a back porch or outdoor kitchen or even in a southern state where the humidty is higher. They suggested that perhaps I leave food out for too long and that has affected the "environment." They suggested that the chlorine level in my water might be too high and that I should contact my city and start using bottled water to clean the appliances. The only time I ever used anything other than the Kitchenaid cleaner was when they sent me something else to try and those instructions stated to wipe off with water when I applied the treatment. They suggested I used lemon juice. We do have another stainless steel refrigerator. In the same house. Cleaned the same way. Over 10 years old. And NO RUST. It's a Kenmore. A stainless steel wine fridge. No idea how old that is, but much older than the Kitchenaid appliances. NO RUST. A stainless steel toaster. 4 years old. No rust. Ultimately, I'm very disappointed that we upgraded to a brand that is well known for quality and are now stuck with perfectly functional, but rusting appliances.

No door water & split shelf

JBco 8/21/2019

Love not having water and ice in the door. Don't have kids, don't need it. Keeps front and floor clean and dry. Also being able to slide the split shelf and put tall items on the shelf instead of having to rearrange the door shelves is quick and easy.

Nice Refrigerator!

Melissa J. 8/20/2019

I love this refrigerator minus a couple of features. 1. The inside of the door has condensation that drips if the door is open due to the filtered water. 2. the freezer divider is in a weird spot. Because of it, you have a space in the back corner that is hard to reach and is too small. It takes great effort to remove the divider and leads to breakage of little clips. Over all its a great product.

Nice looking!

GiGiB 8/14/2019

Bought this just a week ago. Liked the layout of unit because I did not want all the water and ice features in door. Refrigerator section is very roomy. Do wish the bins on doors where just a tad bigger but there is ample space. Giving a 4 star because of the baskets in freezer section. My old refrigerator was same size but there seemed to be more room in my old one because of how the baskets are designed. Also I believe that the seal is not tight on refrigerator door. I have called service and they responded quickly with setting up a service date. Right now I am pleased with product as long as I don't have an ongoing issue with the seal.

Not sure yet

CustomerJoe 8/12/2019

We just purchased our KitchenAid in June. It is August 12 so not much time has elapsed. But I can say this: We are concerned about items freezing in center rear of the top shelf. A bottle of Ice Tea and a can of Coke were both frozen. My wife is disappointed with the amount of real usable storage space. She feels she had more space in the same size GE Profile we had previously. The appearance of the unit looks cheap. the handles are very simple and plain looking. The water spiket is awkward to use. The design of the ice tray allows cubes to fall out from the rear of the tray into the bottom of the unit making it a pain to get down on our knees to retrieve. On a positive note, with an exception for the freezing on the top shelf, so far the kitchen aid is working very well. But refrigerators should last for many years so a review at this time provides really little info for other potential buyers.
